Seasons
Winter Year I

September 30th- November 27th

The coldest it has been yet, the snow has started to fall. The winds make it even colder than it is without it. Food is scarce and the packs slowly start to deteriorate due to this.

A frolic in the field (ARCHIVED)

Post by Marshmallow on Wed Feb 11, 2015 4:53 pm

Hide Away

Marshmallow took in a deep breath of oxygen and pushed out of her lungs carbon dioxide. The fields were her favorite place, and she wandered if Rain had came along too or simply didn't follow her. Her cranium lifted and pointed toward the sky, her multi-colored optics scanned the sky and she smiled. She then began to frolic around in the field and she chased away some insects and small prey that she found little to no interest in eating. She then sat on her rump wondering what to do next, she still didn't know what rank she wanted and she would be assigned a mentor sooner or later. She then jumped to her paws and began to stalk forward, maybe I can be a hunter? She thought to herself with delight before thinking once more, maybe I can be a scout? She thought before straitening up and glancing around.

Rain

Addressed:  ; "Speech" ; 'Thoughts'

The female was in the field. She saw Marshmallow, the maiden she was looking for, out farther. Padding towards her adopted daughter she called out. "Marshmallow! Hey, wait up!" She spoke aloud. Picking up her pace, she ran. Finally slowing down, she walked next to her.  "Mmm later, we are having a pack meeting. We need to discuss some things" She said smiling at the young wolf. The pup wouldn't know, not unless someone would go run off and tell her. She was thinking about what wolf would be best for the child. There were a few, many that she trusted. But, she didn't know. maybe she herself would train the child.

Hide Away

Marshmallow quickly turned to see her favorite person, who also happened to be her adoptive mother. She offered a smile and wagged her tail as she neared the Alpha, her head lowered with respect. Her auds perked at the sound of her speaking and her tail slowed, "What do we need to talk about?" She asked with a slight tilt of her head. She wondered if she was in trouble but she didn't think she had done any thing. Her ivory rump settled down onto the grass and her red stripped, green tipped tail, settled gently across her blue paws.

"What do we need to talk about?"

The female asked with a slight tilt of her head. Rain smiled. You will see soon enough little one. Trust me. She said smiling. Do you wish to have fun, or have the meeting first? She asked the pup by her. She knew one day the pup would take her place as alphaess. She needed to give her chances to make small decisions like this.

Marshmallow smiled before replying, "Business first, play later." Marshmallow replied. She wanted to play first but if the meeting was important then she should attend that first. She wondered what. the meeting was about, she could hardly wait. Her excitement showed and her tail wagged eagerly.
