Border Patrol

The young dog padded to the border of her packs and Corazon's land. Usually, Alphess Lyli would be with her but instead, she was in the rouge lands with Alphess Rain. She grunted. Wolves. Always off doing something or another. Why couldnt they just sit around or something? It was easier. She looked out at Corazon. Their land was pretty, but so was her packs. She sat down near a little puddle and dipped her red head down to drink from it.

Anoki seemed to creep up on the strange looking female in front of him. The fae was busy lapping up water from a puddle. Dirty water no less. He thought. Anoki prefered the cleaner water from streams and lakes. The dog was very close to the border. He knew that his pack and Freedom were friendly toward one another, but he didn't think that applied here. To not make a scene, Anoki chose to make a nice approach.

The fae looked up. There was a black male near her. on the other side of the border though. She stopped what she was doing and turned, her light blue gaze falling over him. Hello, who are you? She asked with a slight wag from her red tail.

Anoki watched in amusement as the fae's tail started to wag softly."Anoki. What might you're name be?" The wolfdog needed to keep a nice face on, he didn't want to have a wolf from another pack angry with him. It might result in war. Anoki didn't need a war brewing, his Alphess would be in danger. The thought of Rain being in dangerous situations annoyed Anoki.

The male slowly, but surely, closed in on the fae and sat right in front of her. He stayed on Corazon's side of the border though. Crossing borders was a big red "NO" in Anoki's mind. "What is a pretty fae like you doing here alone?"

She looked at the male called Anoki. She dipped her head at him in respect. My name is Malaki. She said to Anoki. What brings you here to the borders? Isn't your alpha in the rouge lands? She asked. Actually, she knew that Rain was in the rouge lands. She just didnt know why this male was here when Rain already did the border patrols.

Anoki put a straight look on his face.
"My Alpha is in the Rogue Lands, yes, but I'd know if she were in trouble or not. Do you want me to leave?" Anoki wasn't satisfied with his answer. He didn't like the spotlight being directly on him, so he attempted to turn the tables onto the fae. To add onto his question, Anoki lifted his haunches off the ground and backed up a few paces with a questionable look on his face. You ask too many questions. His thoughts were what he didn't say outloud. Getting the female angry wasn't on his To Do List today.

The female shook her head no. Honestly it gets boring after a while when your all by yourself and having no one around to talk to or play with. She was pretty sure that he could cross over into her lands seeing as the two packs were allies. You can cross you know. Our packs are allies remember. We are all friends here. She said as she watched the male back up a little ways. If she had to say anything about him, she'd say he was nervous.

A puff of smoke left his nose as Anoki breathed out. I have no need to cross. He thought. He returned to his previous spot and lowered his haunches to the ground again.
" I don't exactly have a reason to cross over the border at the moment." He said, his voice sounding lower than it actually was. The fae would most likely catch the slight hesitance in his eyes so he dropped his head so it looked like he was sniffing the ground. If the fae was smart, she'd sense it in his words.

She watched the male. There was something about him. Huh? Oh well. Okay then... She trailed off as she turned, going back to look at the water. Her clear light blue optics gazed back at her from the water. She looked up, she saw a falcon and trees. Many trees. She grunted and layed. She was bored and restless.

He watched as the fae turned her attention elsewhere. Had he said something wrong? Anoki blinked. Had he said something rude? Anoki was a straight to the point kind of wolf and didn't watch his words as carefully as he should.You can't take back words that shouldn't have been said.
"If I said something you didn't like, my apologies. I don't think about what I say before I do." He said to the female. His explaination was lacking, but his words were true.

Looked back at the male as he spoke. She shook her head no fast. Noo! Im just....bored...really, really, bored. If you know what i mean? she said to the male. She watched him from her place on the ground.

Anoki perked his ears at the fae.
Bored? Am I boring?
"Am I boring you?" Anoki wasn't mad, he was amused and his voice showed it. He got up on his paws and quickly shook his body. "Let us do something then. Anoki never did anything fun much anymore, he had a full time job and that was keeping an eye on his Alphess. Anoki thought he earned a few hours off, not that he was ungrateful. "Something fun."

No not boring! And okay how about a hunt? I love those! The Young maiden spoke. Her red fur fluffed up as she shook her fur. Her ears flapping wildly. Jumping around, she stopped and nodded towards him, then nodded towards the woods so they could go hunt together!

She looked up. I dunno...um how about a deer? Yea that'd be simple, easy and fast. Ya up for that? She asked and she turned and pushed her nose in the woods. She caught a faith whiff of a deer.

Anoki nodded and began to track the deer scent. Doe... Maybe a few.. And some fawns., he thought. The more steps he took to stronger the scent became, it was more clearer now. There were three adult females and two fawns, no stag in sight. "You ready Malaki?"

She followed the male in front of her. When she saw the three does nad two fawns she smiled. When he asked if she was ready, she shook her head yes. Turning and going to the other side of the deer, she crouched down and waited for the mans next command.

Anoki lowered his body to the ground in a crouching position and began to inch his way towards the unsuspecting fawn. The two adults were grazing and weren't paying much attention to the fawns so Anoki knew this was his chance to attack. His amber eyes glanced at Malaki, who was waiting on the other side of the deer, and nodded his head for her to go ahead and move forward to try and push the deer towards him.

Malaki saw the command and took her chance. Gently surging forward, the female ran towards the does. She herded the other fawn and one other doe towards Anoki. Jumping, she fell on one fawn's back, making it fall. Reaching for the fatal grip, she killed it and got up to help Anoki.
